Heavy Competition School District

The Challenge

This small school district had 1700 students. There were also 1700 students in mostly Charter Schools in their area. Additionally, this school district is in an open choice state where families can choose to attend districts outside of their assigned school zones. This particular district has three schools – one elementary school, one middle school, and one high school.

Campaign Plan

We concentrated on recruiting students to all three of the schools with a target of 50 total students for this initial campaign.

The Work

Caissa conducted research on the targeted schools to find the issues they were facing. Once those issues were discovered, we tailored our recruitment strategies to combat those issues. We executed an extensive ground campaign and went door to door informing parents and guardians of the positives of their neighborhood schools.

We went door to door, attended local sporting events, and work with local grocery stores to be able to spread the great programs offered by their neighborhood school. On top of a ground campaign, we also used geo fenced ads to directly target a particular area of the community.

Our Results

Through target identification and grassroots engagement, Caissa has recruited 102 students to the targeted schools in 2020.
